Herne Bay High School (HBHS) has a history of integrating a sound approach to Performance Management (PM), however it was felt that with our new Training School (TS) status and our clear focus on supporting and developing our staff that we needed to rethink our existing approach to PM in order that we established a firm foundation on which to build our TS.

In developing our role as a Training School within the Canterbury City and Coastal areas we took a decision to become involved in the second annual Canterbury Partnership CTD that would take place on Friday 12th February 2010.

A session for PE teachers and tutors of sports leaders awards to clarify the processes of assessment and accreditation of Sports Leaders UK courses. All that attended received Tutor Assessor Accreditation from Sports Leaders UK. Held on Monday 7th September 2009.
